Dear Spackenkill Community,
As you may have heard, Governor Cuomo stated that all schools in New York State are authorized to reopen. Every region is below the infection rate threshold established by the state. The Governor reiterated that if there’s a spike in the infection rate, the state will revisit school reopenings.
The Return to School Committee has been working on our plans and will be meeting Tuesday, August 11, to discuss many items, including the Governor’s announcement. We will send another update after that meeting. We plan on holding community question-and-answer (Q&A) sessions over the next two weeks. We will provide further details next week regarding dates and other important information. I hope everyone has a great weekend.
