Basketball Midnight Madness

The Spackenkill Basketball Club is holding a Basketball Midnight Madness event at the High School on Thursday, December 1 from 7:30  - 9:30 pm. Come out for a fun-filled night to kick off and support our Boys and Girls Basketball Programs. meet the teams, participate in contests, and win prizes!  There will be a DJ and concessions.  Bring your friends, neighbors, and family!

Don't Miss Zombie Fest!

Zombie Fest Leo Club

Mark your calendars for Zombie Fest, the spine-chilling Leo Club fundraiser! It will be held on Saturday, October 29 at Spackenkill High School in the lower parking lot. The first walking tour departs at 6:30 pm and the last will leave at 7:30 pm.  Other spooky activities will be available as well.  The cost is only $5 and proceeds benefit Leo Club's Adopt-a-Family Program.  


BOCES CTI Student of Distinction Award

Skyler McBride was honored at the September 27th BOE meeting for receiving the Student of Distinction Award from BOCES CTI. 

Skyler was nominated by her CTI teachers for this award due to her hard work, dedication to her studies, her willingness to be a fully present participant in school and her embodiment of the CTI positive behavior ethics.

We are proud of you Skyler! 


2017 National Merit Scholarship Commended Students

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation has announced the names of about 34,000 commended students in the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program.  We are proud to announce that Anshuman Swain, Eileen Gao, Susan Gong and Anirudh Bhimavarapu are being recognized for the exceptional academic promise demonstrated by their outstanding performance.  Commended students place among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2017 competition by taking the 2015 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.  Congratulations to all of you on this significant achievement.

2017 National Merit Scholarship Semi-Finalists

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation announced the names of 16,000 high school seniors who qualified as semi-finalists in the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program by their outstanding performance on the PSAT/NMSQT.  We are proud to announce that (pirctured left-right) Anubhav Shankar, Leah Mozeshtam,Vincent Li, Isabel Long, Robert Waxman and Nathan Liang were all named semi-finalists. 

These young men and women will have the opportunity to continue in the competition for approximately 7,500 Merit Scholarship awards to be offered next spring. Congratulations on a job well done!

Orientation: Wednesday, September 21st 6:30pm-9:30pm in the High School Auditorium

A parent must attend with the student. If you have any questions call the Guidance Office at 463-7822

**only students who are pre-registered will be seated.

Any walk-ins will be put on a waiting list based on first come first served.
